Annual updates
• 2023
2023 was yet another wonderful year at Earthly Infrastructure® We would like to share a few of Earthly’s key highlights worth noting.
• Earthly Infrastructure® progressed forward with the Virginia DPOR licensing requirements for Class B licensure including bonding, Virginia Law and the Uniform Statewide building code. Earthly Infrastructure® founder Eric S. Cavallo is expected to receive approval from DPOR early to mid 2024 to sit for the state licensing examination.
• Launched the Earthly Infrastructure® Hampton Road Construction News Network Podcast to highlight all things Earthly including current and future projects and initiatives.
• Company founder Eric S. Cavallo and Earthly Infrastructure® contributed four building code update proposals to the International Code Council International Residential Code for the 2027 code development cycle. • As part of the Earthly Infrastructure® Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative, Earthly obtained formal partnerships with the Environmental Protection Agency WaterSense® and ENERGY STAR® programs.
• 2023 once again saw Earthly Infrastructure® swinging for the fences with the 2023 third quarter launch of a 2024 Co-branding initiative campaign to one of the United States building industry titans, Granite Construction Corporation.
• 2022
2022 was an amazing year for Earthly Infrastructure® on the business and organizational side. A few of our milestones and achievements worth noting include:
• Received approval from the Virginia DPOR/Board of Contractors for company Founder and Director of Operations, Eric S. Cavallo to perform as the qualified individual and take the Virginia Commercial General Contractors exam, which Eric successfully passed on December 19th, 2022.
• Completed the Virginia Commercial Technical Building Contractor Program with Contractor Training Center, Richmond Virginia.
• Completed our second United States of America, United States Patent and Trademark Office Federal trademark registration on August 9th 2022.
• Began work on a building code update proposal for the (IRC) International Residential Code Section P2904 “Dwelling Unit Fire Sprinkler Systems” after being invited to participate by Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) Code and Regulation Specialist, Paul Messplay, MPA, CBO, CFM.
